A simple, affordable recipe for a delicious mackerel dish. For grilling - a great option. Just peel the fish, stuff it with onions, grease it with mayonnaise and wrap it in foil. It remains only to wait until it is baked on the grill until cooked. Juicy, aromatic, with a slight sourness - an excellent dish for both family and friends.
Ingredients
Cooking process
We wash the mackerel, cut the abdomen and remove the insides. Cut off the tail and head. We wash the carcasses with running water, be sure to wash out the remnants of blood in the region of the ridge. Then dry the prepared fish well with paper towels from all sides. Cut off pieces of foil for each fish. We put mackerel on them. Sprinkle the carcasses with salt and spice mixture. Additionally, you can use your hands to distribute the spices to each fish.
We generously grease the surface of the mackerel with mayonnaise and wrap the fish in foil tightly enough so that nothing comes out when baked. We place the mackerel in foil on the grate and send it to the grill with smoldering coals. We bake until tender. The process can take approximately twenty-five to thirty minutes, depending on the amount of heat and the size of the fish itself. Do not forget to turn the grate on different sides for even heat treatment.
Bon Appetit!
