A simple sweet cherry pie recipe will catch on in any family. Preparation of the dough does not require any intricacies or special ingredients; cherries are suitable not only fresh, but also canned and frozen. This is exactly the cake that is prepared when “I wanted something sweet for tea”: fast, not troublesome, affordable.

Break the eggs into a bowl, add granulated sugar and beat everything together with a mixer until a light foam is obtained.

Add sour cream to the egg mass, mix. Alternatively, instead of sour cream, you can use kefir or sour milk.

Melt the butter on the stove or in the microwave to a liquid state and pour into the egg-sour cream mixture, stir.

If the berries are frozen, then first defrost and drain off the excess juice. Spread the prepared berries evenly on the surface of the dough.

We put the form with the dough in an oven preheated to 180 degrees, bake for about twenty-five minutes until golden brown. The finished product should grow in volume and brown noticeably. We take the cake out of the oven and let it cool. Then cut into slices and serve.
