Sweet pilaf with dried fruits in a cauldron

Sweet pilaf is not among the traditional dishes and rather belongs to the category of culinary experiments, but for a lean table and dietary food it will be an excellent dish. Cooking pilaf with dried apricots and raisins, in broth and in a cauldron.

Put dried apricots and raisins for pilaf in a separate bowl and soak in hot water for 20 minutes. Then we drain the water, and dry the dried fruits with a napkin. Cut dried apricots into strips.

Peel and chop the onion into small cubes.

Heat the vegetable oil well in a cauldron. Then transfer it to the heated oil and fry only until transparent. Then put finely chopped peeled garlic and chopped dried apricots to the onion and fry everything a little.

Rinse the right amount of rice with cold water several times. Place the washed rice in an even layer on top of the fried ingredients. Then sprinkle the rice with salt, cinnamon and saffron.
