Such pilaf can be cooked both in a slow cooker and in a pan on the stove. We propose to cook it in a multicooker for reasons of saving time and effort. Pilaf looks spectacular due to colored dried fruits. They give not only an attractive color, but a rich sweetish taste. Additionally, sweeten the pilaf with honey. This dish turns out to be quite light, as it does not contain meat products. The recipe will appeal to those who love "dessert" directions in cooking.
Ingredients
Cooking process
We wash the rice well to remove the starch and ensure good crumbling of the future pilaf. By the end of the rinsing, the water should become clear, and the grains should acquire a slightly "glassy" appearance. Thoroughly rinse dried apricots, raisins and pitted prunes, and then place in a bowl and fill with warm water. Leave to soak for ten to fifteen minutes, after which we drain the water. Slightly squeeze dried fruits with your hands and dry on a towel. Cut dried apricots and prunes into smaller pieces.
Peel the carrots, wash, dry and cut into thin long sticks. Alternatively, you can rub on a Korean grater. We heat the multicooker in the "Fry" mode. Put a piece of butter in a bowl, melt it and lay out the chopped carrots. Fry it until light crust. Then turn off the "Fry" program to avoid the risk of burning when adding the following ingredients.
Bon Appetit!
