Plum Jam with Pectin

Jam made with pectin turns out to be very thick and viscous. It will be an excellent filling for homemade cakes and various desserts.

Mix the pectin with 2 tbsp. granulated sugar and leave aside for a while.

We wash the plums with water and cut into halves, remove the seeds and cover with sugar, leave for 1 hour.

We put a saucepan with plums on the fire and wait for a boil, then, stirring occasionally, continue to cook for another 15 minutes. then add the mixture with pectin to the jam and cook for another 3 minutes.

We pour hot jam into jars and roll up.
