It is with great pleasure that I want to share my favorite recipe for sour cream, which I often use to soak a honey cake prepared according to a signature family recipe. The recipe for sour cream is outrageously simple and will not take much of your time.

The required amount of fresh, fatty sour cream of good quality, pre-chilled, pour into a deep container, and then beat well with a mixer at medium speed. Gradually add the required amount of powdered sugar and, increasing the speed of the mixer, whisk the cream until a smooth, airy consistency.

Adjust the amount of powdered sugar in accordance with your taste preferences. Place the prepared sour cream in the refrigerator, after tightening the container with cling film, to stabilize and cool for an hour and a half.

Then grease the honey cake cakes with cooked chilled sour cream.

Also carefully coat the sides and top of the cake with an incredibly tasty and delicate cream made on the basis of sour cream.
