Blackcurrant lovers should prepare juice from this berry for the winter: the drink fully conveys the taste of fresh fruits and quenches thirst well. It is not worth boiling the juice before rolling, just bring it to a boil.

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We wash the currants, sort out the defective specimens. Place the washed berries in a bowl.
step 2 out of 6
Press the berries until smooth.
step 3 out of 6
Pour in water and bring to a boil.
step 4 out of 6
We filter through cheesecloth into a clean dish. We do not wipe it by hand, we leave it to drain for two to three hours. This will keep the juice clean.
step 5 out of 6
Mix the strained juice with sugar and bring to a boil.
step 6 out of 6
We thoroughly rinse and sterilize the jar and lid. Pour the boiling juice into the jar, screw the lid on, turn it upside down to check the tightness. Let cool completely. We remove the workpiece for storage in a dark, cool place.
