Red currant juice without sterilization for the winter

It is a well-known fact that the absence of sterilization allows you to preserve as much of the beneficial properties of berries as possible and this makes ordinary juice even more valuable. However, due to this, the shelf life and storage conditions of the drink are reduced. But we assure you that you do not have to worry about it, because it is impossible to pass by a jar of such fragrant juice.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First, let's prepare the red currants. We remove the berries themselves from the branches, rinse well and dry them with a paper towel.
step 2 out of 5
Then we move the berries into a deep saucepan and pour a liter of cold water. Bring the contents to a boil over low heat and continue cooking for five minutes.
step 3 out of 5
Then we pass the boiled red currant together with the juice through a sieve. Alternatively, you can use gauze. At the same time, it was time to get busy with banks. We wash the containers with soda and sterilize in any way convenient for you.
step 4 out of 5
Pour granulated sugar into the resulting juice in portions, and again send the pan to the fire. We keep it on fire for no more than two minutes from the moment it boils.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the boiled juice into sterile jars and cover with lids, pouring a little into a glass for tasting. We store the workpiece in the refrigerator for no more than three months.
We wish you bon appetite and good mood!
