Red currant juice through a juicer for the winter

Once you have tasted juice from a juicer, you cannot do without it. The drink is uniform in consistency with a moderate dose of natural sugars. And for a wider variety of flavors, do not neglect the addition of ginger and tarragon. These ingredients will help you stay fit and healthy even during the cold season.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We will prepare all the ingredients in the right amount. We remove the berries themselves from the twigs, and peel the ginger, cutting it off with a vegetable peeler, and rinse the peeled root in water.
step 2 out of 7
Then we rub the prepared root on a coarse grater, so that the weight comes out about 50 grams.
step 3 out of 7
Gradually move on to berries. Pass the dried red currant berries through a juicer. The output should be about 1.3-1.5 liters of juice.
step 4 out of 7
Pour the freshly squeezed juice into a saucepan and add a little sugar to it. We send the berry broth to a quiet fire and bring to a boil.
step 5 out of 7
Add grated ginger and fresh tarragon to boiling juice, mix it again, cover with a lid and leave to infuse for a day.
step 6 out of 7
After about 10 hours, send the saucepan with juice on a small fire and boil the juice from the moment of boiling for another 10 minutes. Then pass the entire contents of the pan through a fine sieve, separating the cake from the liquid, and pour the compote into sterilized jars.
step 7 out of 7
Tighten the jar with a lid, turn it over and cool to room temperature, covering it with a warm blanket. It is recommended to store such juice in a place suitable for this purpose, providing a comfortable temperature.
Enjoy your meal!
