Crispy boletus can be prepared for the winter and served as a snack at any time of the year. Mushrooms go well with various side dishes, as well as various hearty salads.

We carefully sort the mushrooms, then soak them in cold water and leave for an hour.

We drain the water and cut the butter into smaller pieces. Fill with water, bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes over moderate heat. Drain, fill with four glasses of new water, add salt, sugar and bring to a boil again.

Add bay leaf and black peppercorns to the mushrooms with marinade. Cook for another 15 minutes. A couple of minutes before cooking, pour in the vinegar and add the cloves of garlic.

We pour the mushrooms with marinade into clean jars, tighten the lids and let them cool, after which we send them for storage. Salted boletus is ready for the winter!
