A winter snack of cucumbers for the winter can be prepared in a cold way. It will taste like the cucumbers are fermented in a barrel. Try this original recipe for your table.

Rinse cucumbers thoroughly and fill with ice water for 4-6 hours. This will fill the vegetables with moisture, making them more juicy.

We also wash all the necessary herbs and leaves and soak them in water for 30-60 minutes.

Let's prepare the necessary spices. Chop the horseradish into plastics, peel the heads of garlic. Grind the chili pepper.

We sterilize the jars. Put some of the spices on the bottom.

We spread the cucumbers. Sprinkle the rest of the herbs and spices on top. At the same stage, we prepare the marinade. Dissolve coarse salt in cold water in the following ratio: 2 tbsp. per liter.

Pour whole cucumbers with brine. We close the necks of the cans with gauze, which we fix with an elastic band. We leave the cucumbers at room temperature for two days. Please note that the workpiece will ferment and some of the water will pour out. Therefore, place the cans in a large container or pallet.

Remove the gauze. We pour the brine into a saucepan.
