Salted tomatoes are a versatile snack for your table. Homemade preparation is suitable for both family dinners and holiday tables. The hot cooking method does not take much of your time.

We wash the tomatoes under cold water. We do this carefully so as not to crush the fruit.

We sterilize the jars. Put herbs and spices on the bottom. They can be added to taste.

Put clean tomatoes tightly on the spices. Pour boiling water over them and leave for 10-15 minutes. Then carefully pour the water into a saucepan for further preparation of the marinade.

Add salt and sugar to the water, mix and bring to a boil. Add citric acid to the jars and pour in the hot marinade.
