Salted tomatoes with sugar

Salted tomatoes are always welcome at feasts, especially with potatoes and meat dishes. A pickle from tomatoes can be used in the preparation of soups, borscht, hodgepodge and other dishes.

Wash and dry the tomatoes and hot peppers. Peel the garlic. Wash and sterilize liter cans for seaming. Place bay leaves, cloves, allspice, black peppercorns, hot peppers and garlic in each jar. Lay the tomatoes tightly on top.

Boil water in a saucepan and fill the jars with them, cover with sterilized lids and leave for 15 minutes.

After 15 minutes, pour the water back into the pot. Add 4 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of salt to 1 liter of liquid, stir and boil.
