Solyanka without mushrooms for the winter

I want to share a recipe for cabbage hodgepodge without mushrooms for the winter. Simple and inexpensive ingredients are used to make a winter snack. At the same time, the solyanka turns out to be delicious and will help you out perfectly when there is no free time for cooking.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Wash the carrots under running water and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater. Take a heavy-bottomed saucepan and pour in the required amount of vegetable oil. Lay out the grated carrots.
step 2 out of 7
Chop the cabbage not too finely, but not too large.
step 3 out of 7
Put the chopped white cabbage in a saucepan, cover with a lid. Put on low heat and simmer for about 35-40 minutes.
step 4 out of 7
During this time, vegetables will shrink well.
step 5 out of 7
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, dry and cut into slices, removing the stalk. Send them to the pan with the rest of the vegetables, salt to taste and simmer for another 25-30 minutes.
step 6 out of 7
Pour in the vinegar, stir and cook for about another 10 minutes. While the hodgepodge is preparing, wash the jars thoroughly, and then sterilize them in the microwave, oven or water bath, pour boiling water over the lids or boil in a saucepan. It is most convenient to take jars with screw caps for seaming.
step 7 out of 7
Spread the hot cabbage hodgepodge in sterile jars and tighten with sterile lids. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and leave in this position until they cool completely for about a day. Put the cooled jars with hodgepodge in a cool place for storage.

Bon Appetit!
