Cabbage solyanka with mushrooms in a pan

Many people know cabbage hodgepodge with mushrooms as a delicious soup, but there is also a hodgepodge as a second dish, and it can be quickly and simply cooked in a regular frying pan. It will not be stewed cabbage, because pickled mushrooms and tomato paste are added to it. Cooking a hodgepodge in a skillet of sauerkraut and fresh cabbage, it tastes better.

First of all, prepare in the right amount all the products for making the hodgepodge. Peel the vegetables. Rinse the sauerkraut with cold water if it is very sour.

Chop the peeled onions into thin half rings.

In a frying pan (for a hodgepodge, take a deep frying pan or stewpan) heat the vegetable oil and fry the onion in it until light golden brown.
