Mushroom hodgepodge is a real delight! The combination of cabbage and mushrooms is not just successful, but perfect! This recipe describes the preparation of a hodgepodge for the winter from butter. It is not difficult to prepare this snack at home, and in winter it is so nice to open a jar of hodgepodge and enjoy its taste!

Onions must be peeled, finely chopped and fried in vegetable oil until transparent and soft.

Rub the peeled and washed carrots on a coarse grater and send them to the fried onions. Simmer vegetables under a closed lid for about 20 minutes.

After a while, add tomato sauce, bay leaf, black pepper, salt and granulated sugar to the vegetables. Mix all the ingredients.

The oil must first be boiled in water for 20 minutes. After that, we cut the mushrooms and send them to the onions with carrots. Stir and simmer vegetables in mushrooms for 5-7 minutes.

We cook the hodgepodge for another 40-50 minutes on minimal heat, not forgetting to stir occasionally. Add vinegar to vegetables 10 minutes before cooking.

Hot oil solyanka should be laid out in prepared jars and tightened with lids. Cool the workpiece upside down under a warm blanket. Then, for long-term storage, we move the hodgepodge to a cool place.
