Fresh cabbage solyanka with sausages

Solyanka made from fresh cabbage with sausages as a simple, quick and tasty meal is prepared both for the dinner table and for dinner, because the dish turns out to be low in calories. To your liking, the hodgepodge can be supplemented with fresh tomatoes, garlic and spices, which will give a regular dish a new taste. For such a hodgepodge, in contrast to the classic version, all the ingredients are fried separately and the cabbage is fried more than stewed.

First, prepare all the ingredients for the dish in the amount specified in the recipe. Free the medium head of cabbage from the outer leaves, rinse it and cut it in half. This amount will be enough for two servings.

Then chop one half with a sharp knife or a special grater into a very thin straw.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet, put cabbage strips into it, sprinkle with salt and black pepper and fry over medium heat and covered with lid for 20 minutes. Do not forget to stir the cabbage periodically with a spatula.

While the cabbage is roasting, peel the carrots and onions, chop them into thin slices and fry in another skillet until tender.

Sausages (take the highest grade, so as not to lose their shape), peel and cut into circles.

Put sausages, fried carrots and onions into a frying pan to ready-made cabbage, add two tablespoons of tomato paste and pour a glass of hot water. Stir these ingredients and simmer for 5-10 minutes and until all the liquid has evaporated. Taste the dish.
