Solyanka for the winter from early cabbage

Cabbage solyanka is a very versatile dish. It can be served as a side dish or a separate dish, made into a pie filling, or added to a soup.

Wash the vegetables and put them on for a while so that the liquid is glass. Chop the cabbage finely with a knife, transfer to a bowl and lightly remember with your hands.

Dip the tomatoes in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, remove the tomatoes from the water with a slotted spoon and carefully peel them off. Cut the pulp into small wedges.

Place all ingredients in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan, sprinkle with salt and sugar, add sunflower oil and stir the contents of the saucepan. Put the saucepan over low heat, bring the hodgepodge to a boil and leave to simmer for 2 hours. Stir the vegetables periodically to keep them from burning.

Spread the hot hodgepodge in sterilized jars, roll them up, leave for a day under a blanket to cool the seams completely.
