Solyanka for the winter an easy recipe

Solyanka is a great and quick way to feed a family. Solyanka can be prepared with or without mushrooms. There are a lot of recipes for winter preparation. Today I want to offer, in my opinion, an easy and simple recipe for a hodgepodge.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Clean fresh mushrooms well and rinse in cold running water. Cut into large pieces.
step 2 out of 6
Boil the chopped mushrooms in a large amount of salted water for 15-20 minutes. Drain the finished mushrooms through a colander and leave for a while to drain excess liquid.
step 3 out of 6
Peel the onions, rinse and cut into small cubes. Wash the carrots well and peel them with a vegetable peeler. Grate the peeled carrots on a coarse grater. Transfer the vegetables to a skillet with a thick bottom, after adding a small amount of vegetable oil and fry over medium heat until softened.
step 4 out of 6
Chop the cabbage thinly and remember with your hands. Combine the prepared ingredients in a deep saucepan. Add vegetable oil, granulated sugar, table salt, black peppercorns and bay leaves. Stir well and simmer over low heat, covered for about 30-35 minutes.
step 5 out of 6
Prepare the jars, wash and sterilize them in the oven at 120 degrees for 7-10 minutes. Also, cans can be sterilized in a microwave oven or in a water bath. A few minutes before the end of cooking, pour in the vinegar essence, mix well, put the hodgepodge in sterile jars.
step 6 out of 6
Tighten jars with hot hodgepodge with sterile lids or roll up with a seaming machine. Turn the snack cans upside down, wrap them in a warm blanket and leave to cool completely for about 12 hours. Then store in a cool place. Serve the rest of the hodgepodge on the table.

Bon Appetit!
