The solyanka will turn out the tastier the more rich the broth in which the rest of the products are laid. Initially, a hodgepodge, or, as it is more correct to call this soup, in the village, any leftovers from homemade smoked meats, sausages, and so on were added, hence it got its name - the team. You can add any meat products that you find on sale to such a soup. And the more all sorts of different meat delicacies your saline includes, the better and more aromatic it will be in the end. A quick version of meat hodgepodge allows cooking finished meat products not in broth, but in water.

Cook pork or beef broth, adding all kinds of roots and seasonings to taste to make it as aromatic and tasty as possible.

Peel the onion and cut into quarters into rings.
