Red fish steaks on the grill

It is from fatty red fish that the most delicious grilled steaks are obtained. They are juicy, rich, with a ruddy crust. Salmon, salmon, chum salmon are ideal. The preparation of steaks for cooking on the grill is the simplest - just season the fish with salt and spices, and sprinkle with olive oil and lemon juice.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We prepare the fish: we clean it from the scales, remove the insides, cut off the head and fins. We wash the carcass inside and outside with cool water, dry it and cut it into even steaks two and a half to three centimeters thick. Additionally, after cutting, dry the flesh of the steaks with a paper towel.
step 2 out of 5
Sprinkle the steaks with salt and black pepper to taste. Use your hands to distribute the mixture evenly throughout the fish.
step 3 out of 5
Sprinkle each steak with lemon juice to taste and pour over with olive oil. Approximately one teaspoon of oil for each steak. We again distribute the resulting marinade over the fish with our hands. Leave to marinate for fifteen minutes.
step 4 out of 5
We place the fish on the grill, previously oiled with vegetable oil, and send it to the grill with glowing coals. We bake until tender for three to four minutes on each side approximately. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on the size of the steaks and the intensity of the heat. A light brown crust should form on the surface of the steaks.
step 5 out of 5
Remove the finished fish from the wire rack and put it on a plate. Serve immediately while the steaks are hot. Additionally, you can serve greens and lemon wedges.
Bon Appetit!
