Pea soup is a dish that everyone knows from childhood, and it is also a very tasty and budget solution for a family lunch. So that the peas are boiled and soft, we advise you to soak them overnight before cooking.

Rinse the peas with cold water several times and soak for 3-4 hours.

Cut the smoked ribs into smaller pieces, put in a saucepan, cover with cold water, put on fire and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and cook for 1-1.5 hours.

After 1.5 hours, remove the ribs from the broth and separate the meat. Put the peas in the broth and cook for 30-40 minutes.

Wash and peel the vegetables, cut into cubes. Add potatoes to soup. Fry carrots and onions until soft in vegetable oil.

Add the vegetable fry to the soup and cook until the potatoes are done.

Chop the herbs and garlic very finely. Cut the bacon into thin strips.
