Kharcho soup with meatballs

We put water on fire and bring to a boil. We wash the rice in a colander under running water and let it drain. We send the rice to boiling water and cook it for about 10 minutes.

Peel the onion. We grate one onion, and finely chop the second with a knife.

Preheat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the onion 5-7. min. over moderate heat. Then add spices to it: coriander, red ground pepper, cumin and tomato paste. Stir and fry for another 3 minutes.
