Beets with horseradish for the winter

Beetroot with horseradish is a spicy snack that goes down to the bones and to tears in the eyes. Especially for lovers of such thrills, horseradish is passed through a meat grinder, garlic and boiled beets are added, everything is additionally poured with marinade. The sensation of the snack is unforgettable!

Soak horseradish root in cold water for 20 minutes, then thoroughly peel, rinse and mince.

Wash the beets, boil, cool and remove the skins from them. Then grind the beets in a food processor, meat grinder or grate.

Remove the husk from the garlic and chop finely. For the marinade, mix water with granulated sugar, salt and vinegar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, turn off heat and cool to room temperature.

Mix horseradish with beets and garlic. Pour the cooled marinade over the mass. If desired, you can grind everything again with a blender. Arrange the prepared snack in sterilized jars, preferably no more than 200 ml in volume, tighten with sterile lids and put in the refrigerator. Store in refrigerator until consumed.
