Cheese cakes in milk in a pan

If you are already tired of pancakes and pancakes, then try making tortillas. They are prepared in milk and eggs with the addition of grated cheese. The crust on the surface of the cakes turns out to be very ruddy and crispy, and the flesh inside is juicy and viscous. Cheese is responsible for all these gustatory delights and spectacular appearance. We recommend using fatty cheese, as it melts better, rosy more actively, and gives more juiciness and creaminess. If desired, you can add any chopped greens to the tortilla dough, the dish will only benefit from this.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
The dough is kneaded in the same way as the pancake. We break the egg into a volumetric bowl. Pour salt and granulated sugar on top in the specified amount.
step 2 out of 8
Pour milk into a bowl to the egg and mix everything well together. You can do this by hand with a whisk, but it is much more convenient to use a mixer. We achieve complete homogeneity and dissolution of sugar and salt grains.
step 3 out of 8
Pour the sifted flour on top of the egg-milk mixture and work again with a whisk or mixer. The consistency of the dough is thicker than pancake, but less dense than the mass for pancakes.
step 4 out of 8
Rub hard cheese on a coarse grater. Pour the resulting cheese shavings into the prepared dough.
step 5 out of 8
Stir everything together with a spatula so that the cheese chips are evenly distributed over the dough. The cheese dough is ready, you can start frying the cakes.
step 6 out of 8
Heat a frying pan with a small amount of odorless vegetable oil until hot on the stove. At the same time, the temperature of the plate is medium-low. Using a tablespoon, put the cheese dough in hot butter and gently distribute it over the bottom of the pan - we form a cake of the desired size. We try to make a cake of the same thickness over the entire area. We close the pan with a lid and fry the cake for one and a half to two minutes, until a golden brown crust appears.
step 7 out of 8
Open the lid and turn the cake over to the other side. Close the pan again and fry the product for another one and a half to two minutes.
step 8 out of 8
Remove the finished cake from the pan with a wide flat spatula and transfer to a plate. If there is a desire to reduce the calorie content, then dry the cake with a paper towel - the excess oil will be absorbed. Put the next portion of dough into a frying pan, form a cake and fry it in the same way. Add more vegetable oil to the pan if necessary. Thus, we fry the cakes from the whole dough. Put the finished cakes in a pile on a plate. Serve hot. Additionally, you can serve sour cream, mayonnaise, unsweetened yogurt.

Bon Appetit!
