Tatar pasties with potatoes

An old Tatar dough dish with filling. Usually these are fried tortillas with potatoes or millet porridge inside. We suggest you try, first of all, the option with potatoes.

Peel the potatoes, wash, cut into large cubes and boil in salted water. Drain the water, add hot milk and butter, mash the mashed potatoes. Season with salt to taste.

Peel the onion, chop finely and fry in butter until tender. Add the sautéed onions to the mashed potatoes and stir.

Prepare the dough. In a deep bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, salt, egg and melted butter.
