Classic kefir chicken dough

For lovers of homemade baking, I recommend preparing an unusually appetizing chicken. For the preparation of the chicken, I use the classic kefir dough. Kurnik on such a dough turns out to be crumbly and crispy, goes well with the juicy filling of the pie.

Heat the required amount of kefir over low heat. Then pour into the mixer bowl.

Cut the softened margarine into small cubes and add to the warmed kefir. Stir until smooth using a stirrer.

Sift the required amount of wheat flour and baking soda into a separate container, add salt and mix the dry ingredients well. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixer bowl and knead the dough with a hook at low speed.

Knead the dough with a mixer for a few minutes. Put the finished dough on a silicone mat, sprinkle with flour and knead the dough with your hands. Then cover with a clean dry towel and rest for 20-25 minutes.

Prepare the filling. Chicken meat - chicken fillet or chicken thigh pulp, wash well, pat dry with paper towels, then cut into small pieces.

Wash the potatoes well, peel them with a peeler, and then cut them into small cubes. Peel the onions, then finely chop and add to the potatoes.

Divide the finished dough into 2 equal parts.

Roll each part with a rolling pin into a rectangular layer about 1 centimeter thick. Place one portion on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.

Spread the prepared filling evenly on top. Season with salt and pepper.

Place the second part of the dough on top of the filling. Pinch the edges of the dough well. Make cuts across the entire surface.

Place the baking sheet with the chicken in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 45 minutes.
