Pizza dough without dry yeast

Here's a simple pizza dough recipe that doesn't include yeast. This means that cooking does not take much time, and you can start forming the pizza itself right away. The dough also does not include eggs, and in taste it will somewhat resemble neutral pita bread. This type of pizza base goes well with juicy, moist toppings. Tomato sauces and grated cheese can be used generously without fear of overmoistening and weighing down the dough base.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First of all, mix the flour with baking powder and sift them together into a large bowl. Add salt at once.
step 2 out of 5
Pour in olive oil. Then, little by little, we introduce water. As you add water, knead the dough by hand. You may need less or more water than the specified amount, since it all depends on the characteristics of a particular flour. Therefore, we pour in the liquid gradually and in small portions. The finished dough should not be too tight. The resulting density can be called medium-soft.
step 3 out of 5
We roll the mass into a ball and cover with cling film. Leave the dough at room temperature for twenty to twenty five minutes. This step is necessary in order for the dough to become more plastic - it will become easier to work with it and after baking it will not be tough.
step 4 out of 5
Roll out the prepared dough in the desired shape. It is desirable that the thickness of the formation does not exceed two to three millimeters. We lay out the conceived filling.
step 5 out of 5
We bake pizza on such a dough at a temperature of 200 degrees for ten to twelve minutes. We recommend placing the pizza tray on the bottom or middle-bottom level. If necessary, brown the top of the filling, at the end of baking, it is better to move the pizza pan to the upper level and quickly achieve a crust by grilling or intense top heating. With this method, the pizza will not dry out and will bake well.

Bon Appetit!
