Dough for pie with cabbage yeast like fluff

In my opinion, many Soviet children love all kinds of homemade baked goods, and my family is no exception. Today I want to propose a recipe for an incredibly tasty yeast dough. I most often use this type of dough to cook pies with cabbage. The dough is light and airy like fluff.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 10
Pour the required amount of kefir into a deep metal container.
step 2 out of 10
Then pour in the required amount of vegetable oil. Put the saucepan over low heat and heat a little.
step 3 out of 10
Pour the required amount of dry yeast into a deep container.
step 4 out of 10
Then add granulated sugar, salt and some of the wheat flour previously sifted through a fine sieve.
step 5 out of 10
Remove the heated kefir from the heat.
step 6 out of 10
Gently pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix well. Tighten the dough with cling film and leave for about 15-20 minutes.
step 7 out of 10
Then gradually sift the remaining amount of wheat flour, mix thoroughly. After that, knead the dough well with your hands and roll into a large ball. Place it in a deep bowl and cover with cling film or cover with a clean kitchen towel.
step 8 out of 10
When the dough rises, knead it a little and leave it to rise again. This process can take 30-35 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the cabbage filling.
step 9 out of 10
Divide the finished dough into equal parts, form cabbage pies and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake the pies for 35-40 minutes.
step 10 out of 10
Cool hot cabbage pies and serve. The dough of the pies turns out to be incredibly tender and fluffy.

Bon Appetit!
