I really love making homemade cakes. Kurnik occupies a special place in my cookbook. To make my favorite cake, I use the ideal, in my opinion, dough, the recipe of which I want to share with you. The dough is crispy and crumbly.

Put the margarine preheated to room temperature in the container in which you will knead the dough.

Add mayonnaise, baking soda, and salt. Stir until smooth.

Sift wheat flour through a fine sieve, mix well. Knead the dough, collect in a lump, cover with cling film, send it to the refrigerator for 25 minutes.

Peel the onions and cut them into half rings. Fry in a well-heated skillet in butter until softened.

Divide the cooled dough into 2 parts, roll it out with a rolling pin into a round layer on baking paper about 5-7 millimeters thick. Cut the boiled potatoes into slices and place in the center of the rolled dough. Season with salt and pepper.

Put the fried onions in the next layer.

Wash the chicken fillet well, pat dry with paper towels, cut into small pieces. Lay on top of the onion layer. Season with salt and pepper.

Form the bumpers. Roll out the second slice of dough. Place on top of the filling. Pinch the edges of the dough well. Make cuts in the center. Place the chicken yolk in a bowl and beat until smooth. Brush the surface of the chicken with whipped chicken yolk using a silicone brush.

Place the kurnik in an oven preheated to 160 degrees, and bake it for 40 minutes until a golden, even crust.
