Tkemali from plums

Homemade sauces are much healthier than purchased ones, but they are not inferior to them in taste. Tkemali made from plums and peppers is very appetizing. It will complement almost any dish, meat or vegetable. Spicy spices and an original combination of ingredients will give them a special flavor.

Rinse the plums with water, cut them into halves and remove the pits.

Transfer the plums to a saucepan and fill with water. We put the pan on a moderate heat and cook them for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally so that they do not burn. During this time, the plums will become soft and boil quite a bit.

Now we drain the water with a colander. And grind the plums until puree. Add salt, sugar and spices to it.

We wash the greens, peel and divide the garlic into slices, and remove the seeds from the pepper. Grind these ingredients in a blender bowl.

Pour one glass of compote with plum puree and cook for another half hour. After that, add chopped garlic and herbs, stir and keep on fire for 10 minutes.
