Tomato paste is an indispensable product in the preparation of many dishes. Store-bought counterparts contain dyes and preservatives, so making tomato paste at home is a great idea! After all, it turns out to be useful and, most importantly, natural. At first glance, it may seem that making tomato paste is difficult, but it is not.

Rinse the tomatoes, chop coarsely. Peel the onions, cut them in half. Rinse the apples, cut into quarters, remove the core. Pass the prepared ingredients through a meat grinder. Place the chopped food in a saucepan, stir.

Put the saucepan on the fire, cook the pasta for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add sugar, salt and the necessary spices to the contents of the saucepan - bay leaf, black pepper, cloves, ground cinnamon and red ground pepper. Mix everything. Continue cooking the tomato paste for another 3 hours.

Spread the finished tomato paste over sterilized jars, roll up, cool at room temperature and store in a cool place. From the total amount of products at the exit, about 3 liters of tomato paste will be obtained.
