Tomato juice without sterilization for the winter - a simple recipe so as not to explode

To keep the tomato juice well and prevent the cans from exploding, it is important to sterilize the cans and seaming lids well and boil the juice for 10-15 minutes. No preservatives are added to such juice. You can add salt and sugar to the glass to your liking. Choose the variety of tomatoes yourself, because their fleshy tomatoes will have a thicker juice than ordinary ones. You can grind tomatoes in a juicer or in a meat grinder with a special attachment.

step 1 out of 4
Wash the tomatoes well and cut into pieces. Then grind them with an auger juicer. Re-pass the remaining cake on a juicer to get more juice.

Pour the resulting juice into a large saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat, remove the foam and cook the juice over low heat for 15 minutes.
step 3 out of 4
Wash the jars with baking soda and sterilize in the oven or microwave. Boil the lids in a separate saucepan. Pour hot juice into prepared jars and immediately roll up hermetically.

Turn the jars onto the lids, cover with a terry towel and, after cooling, transfer to a storage location. This juice can be stored well at home as well.
