Lavash triangles with cheese in a pan

If your family asks for something tasty for a snack, you can not rack your brains and make triangles from pita bread with cheese. In fact, this is an alternative to pies. But they prepare much easier and faster. At the same time, the result is guaranteed to delight the whole family. These triangles are also great for breakfast. Hot, crispy, with a soft cheese filling inside, they make a perfect pair of a cup of coffee in the morning.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Any cheese is suitable for the filling. But it has been noticed that the higher the fat content of the product, the softer and more stretchy the filling in the finished triangles will be. Cheese with a lower percentage of fat retains its shape more and stretches less. Cut the cheese into triangles about half a centimeter thick.
step 2 out of 7
We cut sheets of thin pita bread with kitchen scissors into strips six to seven millimeters wide. The length of such a strip will turn out to be about twenty centimeters. In general, the width of the strip should be slightly larger than the size of the triangle. We put a cheese triangle on the edge of the strip.
step 3 out of 7
Cover the cheese with the second edge of the strip - an even corner is obtained.
step 4 out of 7
We wrap the cheese further, moving along the length of the strip and folding the pita bread in the shape of a triangle, as shown in the photo. Due to the fact that the cheese is initially cut into triangles, there are no problems with the formation of a snack.
step 5 out of 7
In a bowl, mix the egg, a pinch of salt and black pepper to taste. Shake the mixture with a fork until smooth. Dip each triangle in the resulting egg batter.
step 6 out of 7
Heat a small amount of vegetable oil in a frying pan and lay out the prepared triangles. Fry them on both sides until golden brown.
step 7 out of 7
Put the finished ruddy triangles on a paper towel to remove excess oil after frying. Then we place them on a serving plate, decorate with fresh dill herbs and serve. Such triangles are very tasty when hot, while the crust is crispy, and the cheese is soft and stretches well.

Bon Appetit!
