Curd casserole with sour cream

We suggest you prepare a curd casserole with the addition of sour cream and semolina, and we will bake it in the classic way - in the oven. This recipe has been tried by more than one generation of cooks, and we really hope that it will take root in your piggy bank of quick recipes for delicious homemade pastries.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 9
Combine sour cream with semolina, stir and let them stand for a quarter of an hour so that the sour cream helps the semolina swell well.
step 2 out of 9
Stir cottage cheese with eggs.
step 3 out of 9
Add salt, sugar and vanilla sugar to the curd and egg mixture and stir thoroughly.
step 4 out of 9
Add baking powder to make the casserole rise and develop a lighter texture.
step 5 out of 9
Add semolina with sour cream to the mixed dough.
step 6 out of 9
Knead the dough without lumps, it is best to do this with a blender.
step 7 out of 9
Smear the bottom and sides of the baking dish well with butter and sprinkle with semolina or breadcrumbs.
step 8 out of 9
Preheat the oven to 180-190 degrees, put the prepared curd mass into a mold, cover it with sour cream on top to get a beautiful crust. Bake curd baked goods for at least 45 minutes or an hour using your oven. Allow the casserole to cool in the unplugged oven so that it does not settle from the temperature extremes.
step 9 out of 9
Slice the slightly cooled casserole in portions and serve with sour cream or jam.

Bon Appetit!
