Cottage cheese casserole with pumpkin and apple

Mouth-watering cottage cheese casseroles can be prepared with almost any fillings. However, the most delicious and healthy filling for a curd casserole will, of course, be apples with pumpkin. Be sure to try the hearty and healthy breakfast!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Peel the pumpkin and cut it into cubes. Then boil the pumpkin until tender, being careful not to turn it into porridge or overcook it. Place the vegetable in a colander to drain off the water.
step 2 out of 8
Peel and cut the apples, then heat them slightly in a dry frying pan. This is to soften the apples slightly.
step 3 out of 8
Combine cottage cheese with chicken egg and sugar, and grind thoroughly.
step 4 out of 8
Sprinkle peeled and softened apples with lemon juice so that the fruits do not darken.
step 5 out of 8
Mash the pumpkin until smooth, mushy, add semolina and cinnamon to taste. Leave the mixture until the semolina swells a little.
step 6 out of 8
Grease a baking dish with butter, sprinkle with breadcrumbs and form a layer of pumpkin, followed by a layer of apples. Sprinkle the cinnamon on the apples and gently form a curd layer on top.
step 7 out of 8
Lightly sprinkle the topmost layer of the casserole with the remaining bread crumbs and add a couple of slices of butter. Send the casserole to the oven at 200 degrees for half an hour.
step 8 out of 8
Serve the finished cottage cheese casserole with pumpkin and apple in portions, cooled down. You can offer various sauces and additives to the dish.

Bon Appetit!
