The next step is to separate the whites from the yolks. Beat them separately. Add half a glass of granulated sugar to the yolks and beat until the mass almost turns white and the granulated sugar dissolves completely. At this stage, you can already turn on the oven to warm up, setting the temperature to 180 degrees.
Grease the baking dish with a piece of butter so that the casserole, when cooked, better moves away from the walls and bottom of the form. Put half of the finished curd dough in a mold, then spread about half of the cherry filling over its entire surface. Then pour out the remaining dough and sprinkle the rest of the cherries on top.
