Curd casserole is a delicate curd dessert that we have loved since childhood. Airy in consistency and creamy in taste, it is ideal for breakfast with a cup of aromatic tea or coffee. And if you add grated apple and carrots to the casserole, it will become more juicy, sparkle with bright colors and fruity notes. Cinnamon will perfectly accentuate the combination of apple and carrot and give the casserole a subtle spicy aroma.

For the preparation of casseroles, it is best to choose homemade cottage cheese or store-bought fat content of 9-11%. In order for the cottage cheese to acquire an airy consistency without grains, we rub it through a sieve.

Choose a juicy and sweet apple, rinse it and peel it. Then rub the apple on a coarse grater.

We clean the sweet carrots, wash and rub on a fine grater. Put in a frying pan with a small amount of butter and simmer over low heat under a lid for 15-20 minutes. Then remove the pan from the heat and let the carrots cool for 10-15 minutes.

In a deep bowl, combine cottage cheese, egg, sugar and flour, cinnamon and vanillin. Mix the ingredients well, then add the apple and carrots to the dough. Mix everything well again until smooth.

Grease the baking dish well with a piece of butter and put our beautiful orange dough into it. Using a silicone spatula, distribute the mass over the width of the entire mold and put it in a preheated oven to bake at a temperature of 200 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

Using a grip, carefully remove the form with the finished casserole from the oven, let the casserole cool for 10-15 minutes, then cut into portions and serve with sour cream or yogurt. Bon Appetit!
