Cottage cheese and pumpkin casserole Zebra

It is with great pleasure that I want to share an unusual, interesting recipe for cottage cheese and pumpkin casserole. The casserole turns out like a zebra. Looks bright and festive. This casserole can be served as a dessert for a children's party. The dessert will be tasty and healthy.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
Put the required amount of poppy seeds in a deep saucepan with a thick bottom, pour a glass of drinking water and put on medium heat. Cook over low heat for about 10-15 minutes, then drain the remaining water through a sieve and let the poppy dry.
step 2 out of 7
Make sure you have boiled pumpkin in advance or purchase ready-made pumpkin puree. Immediately measure out 100 grams of pumpkin puree and set aside to prepare the filling. Put the rest of the pumpkin puree in a deep bowl, add the required amount of granulated sugar, chicken eggs and cornstarch. Add orange zest if desired. Stir the mixture thoroughly until smooth and uniform.
step 3 out of 7
Put the cottage cheese in a deep bowl, add the chicken eggs, the required amount of granulated sugar, cornstarch and poppy seeds. Mix thoroughly until smooth.
step 4 out of 7
Prepare a baking dish. I had a split form. Lubricate the mold with a little vegetable or butter, cover the bottom with baking paper if desired. Then, in order of priority, in a tablespoon, first lay out the pumpkin mass and then the curd mass, alternating until the ingredients run out.
step 5 out of 7
Use a wooden skewer or toothpick to create a beautiful pattern. Place the form in a preheated oven and bake the pumpkin-curd casserole at 180 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
step 6 out of 7
Prepare the fill. Combine the left pumpkin puree with chicken egg, sour cream and granulated sugar. Stir thoroughly with a whisk until smooth, then gently remove the casserole from the oven and distribute the filling evenly. Reduce the temperature to 160 degrees and place the casserole dish for another 10 minutes.
step 7 out of 7
Carefully remove the ready-made curd-pumpkin "Zebra" from the mold and transfer to a dish. Cool completely, then cut into portions and serve with your favorite hot drinks.

Bon Appetit!
