Curd cake with milk

This recipe will appeal to lovers of wet cakes. Cottage cheese will make it incredibly tasty and very tender, and candied fruits will add bright sweet notes. You can use absolutely any of them, according to your taste.

These ingredients allow you to prepare two Easter cakes at once with a diameter of 17 cm and a height of about 11 cm.

We heat the milk (it is important that it is warm, not hot).

Add 1 tbsp to the milk. l. sugar and mix.

Add yeast to milk.

Add 100 grams of flour and mix.

Cover the container with a towel or foil and leave it in a warm place to raise the dough. It should double in size.

Put cottage cheese and eggs in a blender, grind them. If you do not have a blender, grind the cottage cheese through a sieve and then add the eggs, stirring everything.

Grind the butter with salt, sugar and vanilla sugar.

Add the curd-egg mixture to the butter.

Then add the dough and mix.

Add all the remaining flour, about 400-450g. Knead the dough.

We take a baking dish, grease the edges and bottom with oil. At 1/3 of the volume of the form, we fill it with our ready-made dough.

We put it in the oven, preheated to 100 degrees, and bake for 10 minutes. Then the temperature needs to be increased to 180 degrees and baked until tender, about another 25 minutes. Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer or a toothpick.
