Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
For the preparation of the juice, we have chosen a nutmeg pumpkin, rich orange color, ripe and juicy. We rinse it under running water, dry it with a towel. Peel and seed the pumpkin and cut into medium-sized cubes. Put the pumpkin in a saucepan, add water and set over medium heat. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and boil until soft.
step 2 out of 6
Choose hard and juicy apples. We wash them under running water, put them on a kitchen towel and let them dry from the water for 10-15 minutes. Then we cut the apples in half, remove the stalks and core. Cut the apples into 4-6 pieces.
step 3 out of 6
We pass the apples through a juicer, after which we filter the juice through cheesecloth folded in 2-3 layers to get rid of the pulp.
step 4 out of 6
We wash the oranges under running water, then scald with boiling water. Using a fine grater, remove the zest from the oranges, carefully separating only the orange part. We roll the oranges on the working surface, pressing a little from above with the palm of your hand. Then we squeeze the juice out of them. When the pumpkin has become soft, remove the pan from the heat and add the juice and orange zest to the pumpkin.
step 5 out of 6
Using a hand blender, puree the pumpkin until smooth. Then add apple juice and sugar to the pumpkin puree, mix with a wooden spoon and put on medium heat. Bring the juice to a boil, reduce the heat and let the juice simmer for 4-5 minutes, then remove from heat.
step 6 out of 6
Pour the finished hot juice into pre-sterilized bottles, seal tightly with boiled lids and leave at room temperature until it cools completely. Then we remove the juice for storage in a dark, cool place.
