Pumpkin-apple juice with pulp is a storehouse of vitamins in one glass! Prepared with your own hands at home, it contains only vitamins and nutrients and consists entirely of natural products. Prepared without added sugar, it will serve as an excellent complementary food for babies, as well as a great drink option for those who do not consume sugar and will be a worthy alternative to store-bought juices and drinks.
Ingredients
Cooking process
For the juice, we will use a juicy ripe pumpkin of a bright orange color. We rinse it under running water and dry it with a towel. Then we peel and seeds and measure out the amount we need. Cut the pumpkin into small pieces, put it in a saucepan and add water. We put on fire, bring to a boil and boil for a few minutes until soft. Then, using an immersion blender, puree the pumpkin until a smooth consistency is obtained.
Rinse the apples under running water, put them on a kitchen towel and leave them for 10-15 minutes to dry from the water. Since our apples are homemade, we will not remove the peel, if you use purchased ones - it is better to peel the apples from the peel. Cut the apples in half, remove the stem and core. For a richer taste, add some carrots to the juice. We clean and wash the carrots under running water.
Pass the apples and carrots through a juicer and pour the juice into a saucepan with a thick bottom, add the pumpkin puree and mix. Put the saucepan over low heat and bring to a boil. At this point, you can sample the juice and, if necessary, add a little sugar to your liking. However, more often than not, the sweetness of fruits and vegetables is enough, and the juice is perfectly stored rolled up without added sugar.
