Duck slices with rice in the oven

We offer a simple recipe for duck with rice in the oven. Cut the poultry into pieces and marinate with vegetables. Bring the rice to half-cooked separately. We put everything together in a baking sleeve and send it to the oven for an hour. Juicy pieces of duck and flavorful rice are ready! Ingredients - a minimum, labor costs - a little, and the result will delight you with a rich taste and an unusual look.

Wash the duck carcass, dry it and cut it into small portions. The skin can be removed - this way the dish will be less greasy. It is also better to cut off excess fat. Peel the carrots, wash them, dry them and cut them into cubes. We free the onions from the husks, wash them, dry them and cut them into thin half rings.

Put the specified amount of sour cream in a large bowl. Add spices to it: red ground pepper, a mixture of peppers, dried basil, granulated garlic and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly to get a smooth sauce. Put the prepared pieces of duck in it, mix so that the sauce covers all surfaces of the bird. Then we lay the carrot sticks and onion half rings, mix again. We leave for an hour or two for pickling.

While the duck is marinating, wash the rice until clear water, place it in a saucepan, fill it with water, add some salt and bring to a boil. Cook the cereals until half cooked for fifteen minutes. The rice should remain slightly firm. We discard the cereal in a colander, let the broth drain.

Put the rice into the baking sleeve, level it. We lay out pieces of duck and vegetables on it. Pour in a quarter glass of water. Tie the sleeve tightly on both sides and place on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. We send the baking sheet with the sleeve to the oven. We bake for one hour.

We take out the finished dish from the oven. Cut the sleeve from above and transfer the rice and duck from it onto a serving dish. Serve hot with fresh vegetables.
