The famous Peking duck with oranges in the oven is a dish that will win you over from the first bite. It is a safe bet for any celebration and family dinner. Since duck meat is very fatty, we recommend steaming rice or vegetable salad as a side dish.

Squeeze the juice of one orange and lemon into a bowl. Add sunflower oil, salt and spices. Grate the duck carcass inside and outside with the resulting marinade and refrigerate for an hour.

Cut the oranges into small wedges and stuff the duck with them. Depending on the size, you will need 1-2 fruits.

Fasten the belly with toothpicks.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the duck in a baking bag. Cook the duck for 2 hours.

Grate the zest of one orange and squeeze the juice out of it. Combine zest, juice, wine and honey. Put the mixture on medium heat and cook until a thick syrup, then strain.

Remove the duck from the oven, remove the baked oranges from it and place on a dish next to it. Drizzle with hot syrup, garnish and serve.
