Apricot jam in halves

Everyone loves apricot jam. The dense fruit halves can be used to decorate homemade desserts. In order for the fruits to retain their shape, they are cooked in three approaches.

Wash the apricots, leave them to dry on a towel, then cut the fruit in half and remove the pits.

Pour sugar into a saucepan, add 2 cups of water to it and simmer the sweet syrup over low heat. After boiling, add fruit to it. Boil the apricots in the syrup for 1 minute, then let them brew for 8-12 hours.

Gently drain the syrup from the apricots, bring it to a boil and pour over the fruit again, boil for 2-3 minutes and leave for 8-12 hours. If foam appears, remove it.

Repeat the procedure again, in this case, cook the fruit until tender, pour the jam into sterilized jars and roll up. Store the jam in a cool place.
