Apricot jam with orange for the winter

When the apricots are ripe and go to the shelves, it's time to cook a fragrant delicacy from them along with oranges - a fragrant, viscous and fragrant jam. Whoever has tried it knows what a yummy it is, that it is simply impossible to resist, especially in winter. So actively store your bins in the summer, so that in the cold season there is something to take your soul away!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Wash the apricots, divide them in half and remove the pits.
step 2 out of 5
Wash the oranges very thoroughly, then cut into pieces and scroll in a meat grinder, removing the seeds so that the jam does not taste bitter. Orange peels can be added to jam or removed.
step 3 out of 5
Place the apricot slices and orange gruel in an enamel container, then cover everything with sugar, but do not stir so as not to damage the slices. Cover the container with a lid and leave for at least three hours so that the sugar dissolves well in the fruit juice.
step 4 out of 5
Cook the jam in three passes, 15-20 minutes each, removing the foam and letting the jam cool completely, and then repeat everything again. In this way, you will keep the apricot slices intact, floating in the thick aromatic syrup.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the jam into sterilized jars and tighten with airtight lids. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a blanket and let the jam cool completely, then store in a cool place.

Bon Appetit!
