Apricot jam is a favorite of many housewives, and walnuts inside these fruits will make the taste of the jam richer and more refined. The jam will be useful due to the fatty acids of the nut, which is also important for children, because they just do not eat nuts. For this recipe, choose dense and large apricots. To make the jam not only tasty, but also beautiful, we prepare it by bringing it to a boil 5 times with cooling periods of 5 hours. It takes a long time, but the result will please you.

Wash the apricots selected for jam well with cold water and pat dry with a towel. Then break or cut each fruit with a knife and remove the bone. Cut the peeled walnuts into halves or quarters and place them in the middle of each apricot, depending on the size of the fruit.

In a bowl for cooking jam, pour the calculated amount of sugar, lemons, pour clean water and boil the syrup with constant stirring.

Gently put the apricots stuffed with nuts into the boiled syrup, bring them to a boil over low heat and turn off the stove. Do not stir the apricots in the syrup, otherwise they will not retain their shape.
