Apricot jam with lemon

Fruit jam made from apricots is aromatic and tasty. The addition of lemon gives the delicacy a pleasant sourness. Serve tea sweetness for the family breakfast.

We choose fresh and ripe apricots. Fill with cold water for a couple of minutes, then rinse.

Cut the apricots into slices, remove the seeds.

Pour sugar into a saucepan. Squeeze the lemon juice completely into sugar. Add 50 ml of water.

Add star anise stars, a cinnamon stick and put the pan on the fire. Cook until sugar is completely dissolved and syrup is formed.

Add apricot slices to the syrup and continue to cook over medium heat.

Cook the fruit for 20 minutes. Stir them constantly so that the jam does not burn.

When the fruits become transparent, grind them through a sieve and send them back to the pan.
