Apricot jam with kernels and lemon

To begin with, boil syrup with sugar, star anise, cinnamon and whole lemon juice. Apricots cut into slices are added there and everything is cooked over medium heat. Ready-made jam is stored in sterilized jars and served with tea.

Place the apricots in a deep container and fill it with cold water for a few minutes. Then we drain it and rinse it thoroughly. Dry with a paper towel.

Cut the fruit in half. We take out the bones and remove the shell from them.

Take a deep saucepan and add granulated sugar, squeeze out the juice of a whole lemon and pour water.

Add star anise, cinnamon stick and put everything on fire. Cook over medium heat until the sugar is completely dissolved.

We send peeled seeds and apricot slices to the syrup.
