White cherry jam with seeds

I highly recommend making white cherry jam with seeds. Amber jam has excellent taste and aroma due to the use of lemon. It is best to cook the jam immediately after harvesting the fruit, since the white or, as it is also called, yellow cherry in the assembled state is stored for a short time.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Prepare all the ingredients you need to make White Cherry Pitted Jam.
step 2 out of 6
Sort out the white cherries, put in a sieve or colander, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. Wash the lemon thoroughly.
step 3 out of 6
Place the prepared berries in a metal dish with a thick bottom. Fill the berries with the required amount of granulated sugar, pour in drinking water. Mix thoroughly and leave for 1-1.5 hours, covered with a lid. Then put the container with berries on low heat, bring to a boil, stirring occasionally and removing the resulting foam.
step 4 out of 6
Cook until the granulated sugar is completely dissolved. Cut the lemon into quarters, remove the seeds, cut into thin slices and place in a container with berries. Bring to a boil and cook for 5-7 minutes. Prepare jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the microwave or oven. Pour boiling water over the lids. Jars and lids must be dry.
step 5 out of 6
Using a ladle or mug, gently pour the hot jam into sterile jars. Tighten jars of white cherry jam with sterile lids, then turn upside down. Leave as it is until it cools completely.
step 6 out of 6
When completely cool, turn the jars over and move them to a cool, dark place for long-term storage.

Enjoy!
